FLYERS BEGIN FEBRUARY WITH BIG WIN OVER DIVISION RIVAL STEELERS - FEBRUARY 3

Terrace, BC native’s Chapen Leblond and Ben Reinbolt each scored a pair as the Winkler Flyers doubled up the Selkirk Steelers 6-3 in their final meeting of the regular season. Ryan Bembridge earned his third win as a Flyer kicking aside 45 shots.

WINKLER'S WINNING STREAK STOPS AT FIVE AS JANUARY COMES TO AN END - JANUARY 31

The Flyers winning streak was stopped at five games after a 4-1 loss to the visiting Winnipeg Saints on Tuesday. Winkler lost the special teams battle, allowing two power-play goals against and going 0-for-5 on the power-play themselves.

FLYERS SHOW PERSERVERANCE IN SHOOT-OUT WIN OVER SWAN VALLEY - JANUARY 29TH

The Winkler Flyers increased their winning streak to five games with a 5-4 shoot-out win over the visiting Swan Valley Stampeders on Sunday afternoon. Sam Waterfield scored the lone goal for the Flyers in the shoot-out while Ryan Bembridge stopped all three Stampeder shooters to help Winkler win their 32nd game of the year.
