The Winkler Flyers are pleased to announce the signing of 20 year old goaltender Reed Peters. The Morden native spent last season with the USHL’s Fargo Force after playing his rookie season in Winkler in 2010-2011, where he was named to the MJHL All-Rookie Team.

During his rookie campaign, Peters had a record of 18-14 with the Orange and Black with a 2.94 goals against average and a .914 save percentage.

“Having Reed re-join our hockey club will bring a calming influence and great experience to the group,” said Flyers Head Coach and General Manager Ken Pearson.

“Bringing in what we hope is one of the best goalies in the league and having him be a local kid is something we are extremely happy about.” Added Pearson.

The entire Flyers organization is extremely happy to welcome Reed back into the Flyer Family.
