The Winkler Flyers are pleased to announce the acquisition of 20 year old forward Justin Faux from the Whitecourt Wolverines of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) for future considerations.

Over the past two seasons, the Red Deer, Alberta native scored 75 points (30 goals – 45 assists), wracked up 64 penalty minutes in 109 games played with the Drayton Valley Thunder of the AJHL.

The left winger stands 6’2’ and weighs 190lbs.

The Winkler Flyers are expected to announce their opening night roster in the coming days. The Flyers will open the 2012-2013 MJHL regular season in Portage on Saturday, September 22nd. They will also play in Neepawa on Sunday, September 23rd before hosting the Winnipeg Blues in their home opener in Tuesday, September 25th.
