FLYERS ADD VETERAN WHL GOALTENDER TO THE FOLD – SEPTEMBER 8

The Orange and Black have shored up their defensive game by acquiring the services of 20 year old goaltender Dorrin Luding (99). The 20 year old Richmond, B.C. native spent the past two seasons in the Western Hockey League (WHL), suiting up for the Saskatoon Blades this past season.

“We are extremely happy to have a player like Dorrin commit to our program, and we feel that having someone of his skill set and experience will be a huge compliment to our team and is a bit part in us having a successful season,” said Flyers General Manager Jeff Jeanson.

Luding is a 6’1”, 196lbs goaltender who had a 9-5 record with the Saskatoon Blades last season. He also had a 2.90 GAA and a .909 SV% with one shutout. Saskatoon drafted Luding in the 3rd Round of the 2014 WHL Bantam Draft.

The Flyers would like to officially welcome Dorrin and his family to the Flyers organization.
