The Winkler Flyers are proud to announce that defenseman Will Brophy has committed to the NCAA Division III Trinity College hockey program.
“The Winkler Flyers provided me with an incredible opportunity to develop as a player and a person these past two seasons. They prepared me for the next level and I can’t thank my teammates and coaches enough for their continued support,” Brophy said about his time with the Flyers.
“Very excited for Will to announce his commitment to Trinity College! We truly believe Will’s best years are still ahead of him and this is a big land for their hockey program. He’ll be a guy that can step in and play big minutes right away and be a staple for the next 4 years. Will was a big reason we brought back a championship to Winkler and he’ll bring that experience with him to Trinity. Not only will Trinity be getting a really good player but they’ll be getting a really good man and teammate. Couldn’t be more excited for Will and his family!” said Winkler Flyers Associate Coach and Assistant GM Coltyn Bates.
