ELIAS WOODWORK – WINKLER FLYERS PROSPECT WATCH – MALACHI KLASSEN

MALACHI KLASSEN (03) | GOALIE | RINK HOCKEY ACADEMY (MIDGET PREP)

HOMETOWN: Winkler, Manitoba

Height: 6’0” | Weight: 175lbs | Winkler Flyers Auto Protect – 2018

SCOUTS COMMENTS:

Malachi is an athletic goaltender with a presence on the ice. He leads by example and is very focused and committed to improving his game on a daily basis. Malachi reads the play very well, adapts, and has a high battle level for loose pucks. He is technically sound and plays an aggressive game which allows him to make the second and third save. We see a bright future for Malachi in Orange and Black. He has an 11-3-1 record so far this season with one shutout.

“Malachi has had a good start to our season and he keeps getting better. He is very detail oriented and is extremely dedicated to improving himself as a goaltender. Malachi is a very competitive person and has had a positive impact on our group and program. I am excited to see the strides he makes in the second half. He would be a great addition to the MJHL” – RHA Nationals Head Coach Rob Smith

The Elias Woodwork – Winkler Flyers Prospect Watch will be posted each week and will feature one up and coming prospect in the Flyers system. The Flyers wish the best of luck to Malachi and the rest of the Nationals this season.
