Trent is a power forward who plays with pace and competes hard. He can play up and down the lineup, using his skill and aggressiveness as needed. He projects as a top six winger with potential to be an offensive force. Penner has 41 points (20 Goals – 21 Assists) and 90 penalty minutes in 38 games played with the Pembina Valley Hawks of the Manitoba U18 AAA Hockey League this season. Penner suited up for one game with the Flyers this season as an AP.
