FLYERS ADD DEFENSEMAN IN TRADE WITH CANMORE – JULY 27

The Winkler Flyers have added more depth to the blueline with the acquisition of defenseman Raihan Kehraj (99) from the Canmore Eagles (AJHL) for a Player Development Fee (PDF). The New Westminster, B.C. product recorded six points (1 Goal – 5 Assists) and 83 penalty minutes last season with the Estevan Bruins (SJHL).

“He’s a good skating puck mover with Junior experience,” said Flyers Head Coach and General Manager Ken Pearson.

“He will add some good depth to our D Corps and is a quality kid,” added Pearson.

The 6’0”, 180lbs right hand shooting defenseman had 16 points in 30 games with the Burnaby Winter Club (CSSHL) during the 2016-2017 season.

The Flyers would like to welcome Raihan and his family to the Flyers organization and look forward to seeing him in an Orange and Black uniform this fall.
