FLYERS ADD MORE SIZE WITH ADDITION OF BRADY PUPP – OCTOBER 18

The Winkler Flyers have added even more size to their blueline with the acquisition of defenseman Brady Pupp (98) from the Bonnyville Pontiacs (AJHL) for future considerations.

“Brady is a big, physical, stay at home defenseman and will definitely help us out in our own end,” said Flyers Head Coach and General Manager Ken Pearson.

The Flyers already sport the best goals against average in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League, allowing just 19 goals in 10 games played. The Orange and Black also possess one of the biggest defense corps in the league and the addition of Pupp will only augment that.

Pupp is a 6’2”, 190lbs defenseman from Calgary, Alberta. The 19 year old has recorded seven points (1 Goal – 6 Assists) and 104 penalty minutes in 63 total games played in the Alberta Junior Hockey League.

The Flyers would like to officially welcome Brady and his family to the Flyers organization and look forward to seeing him on the ice.
