FLYERS AND OIL CAPS SWAP GOALTENDING PROSPECTS – OCT 16

The Winkler Flyers and Virden Oil Capitals have completed a trade which involves the swap of a pair of goaltending prospects. The Flyers have acquired the list rights to 17 year old goaltender and La Salle, Manitoba native Brock Moroz (02) in exchange for prospect goaltender Carson Cherepak (02).

Moroz is a 6’3”, 165lbs goaltender who has a 3-1 record with the Pembina Valley Hawks (Manitoba U-18 AAA) this season. He also has a 2.27 GAA and a .938 save percentage.

“We are happy to have added a good local goaltending prospect to our club. He will add good organizational depth in that position and the fact that he is a local Pembina Valley kid is a huge bonus as well,” said Flyers General Manager Jeff Jeanson.

The Flyers would like to welcome Brock and his family to the Flyers organization and would like to wish Carson all the best in the future.
