FLYERS ANNOUNCE 2017-18 OPENING NIGHT ROSTER – SEP 19

The Winkler Flyers have announced their 25 man, opening day roster for the 2017-2018 Manitoba Junior Hockey League season. The roster is highlighted by 10 returning players from last years team that finished the 2016-17 season with the second best record in the MJHL.

The 15 forwards, 8 defensemen and 2 goaltenders that Head Coach and General Manager Ken Pearson has selected to start the season are a good mix of skill, grit and size. The Flyers defense corps averages well over 6’ tall and will provide some solid protection for returning goaltender Troy Martyniuk and new comer Aaron Brunn.
