Flyers Come Up Short in Second Pre Season Game

The Winkler Flyers fell short to the Selkirk Steelers on their first road game of the pre season.

The Flyers jumped out to a 1-0 lead just 19 seconds into the game off of a quick shot from Sullivan Shortreed.

Selkirk banged in two unanswered goals and led 2-1 heading into the third period. The Steelers scored their second power play goal of the game just over 5 minutes into the final frame and held on for a 3-1 victory.
