The Winkler Flyers are happy to announce the commitment of forward Brody Beauchemin to the Lakehead University (USports) men’s hockey program.
“It’s been a pleasure and an honour to play four years of junior hockey in Winkler. This experience has helped me grow so much—both as a player and as a person—and has played a huge role in helping me reach the next level. Winkler gave me a place to call home while I pursued my hockey dreams.I can’t thank my billets, teammates, coaches, trainers, and everyone involved enough for everything they’ve done for me over the years. I’ll miss every second of it!” – Beauchemin.
“He’s been a cornerstone of our program, playing over 200 games and finishing top 10 in all-time Flyers scoring. For two straight seasons, he’s been one of the top forwards in the MJHL, consistently among the league’s top scorers. He is a guy who gives 110% every day, understands and executes the little details it takes to win, and makes everyone around him better.
