FLYERS LOOKING FOR BILLET HOMES FOR 2014-2015 SEASON

The Winkler Flyers Junior Hockey Club is currently accepting applications for billet households in the Winkler/Morden area for the 2014/15 season. Welcoming one of our young players (age 16-20) into your home can be a very rewarding experience.

During the season, players will come to the Winkler arena to play for the Flyers, sometimes moving thousands of miles away from home. Not only will you help these young men achieve their goals and dreams, but it also gives you the opportunity to forge lifelong relationships within your community and beyond.
Each billet family is provided with the following: 
 
– $300 COOP Gift Card per month/per hockey player housed to offset food and other costs. 

– Season Passes for the whole family.

– An invitation to partake in a special Billet Family Appreciation Night during Parent/Billet weekend.

– Christmas hamper courtesy of the Flyers and Kroeker Farms in Winkler.
  
Qualifications include providing a bedroom for each player as well as a commitment to provide a safe and caring environment along with general responsible guidance. Additionally, the team will conduct background checks on all billet applicants. A billet handbook will be provided outlining all rules and guidelines.
