Flyers Sign Forward Brady Craik (’05) To Letter Of Intent

The Winkler Flyers are thrilled to announce that the organization has signed Brady Craik (’05) to a letter of intent to play with the Orange and Black in 2023-24.

Brady split time between the Anaheim Jr. Ducks 18U AAA team, Anaheim T1EHL 18U, and his high school team Lutheran High School. All stats combined, Brady finished the year off with 68 GP, 21G, 22A, 43P.

We asked Craik to tell us about himself and his family, “I am 18 years old and have grown up and lived in Yorba Linda, California my entire life. I have 3 family members including my Dad (Mike), Mom (Tracey), and sister (Carley). I am currently playing club hockey for the Anaheim Jr. Ducks 18 AAA. I also play for my high school Orange Lutheran.’

“It feels amazing to get to finally sign a letter of intent with the Flyers.” Craik explained why he signed with the Flyers organization. “I decided to sign the letter of intent with the Flyers organization because I felt that it was the right decision and a start to a new chapter in my life.”

Flyers Assistant GM & Coach Coltyn Bates and the Flyers coaching staff are thrilled to have Craik on board. “It’s a really exciting day, anytime you can add a kid of Brady’s caliber, high work ethic, compete, and character are just a few things to describe Brady. Brady is a big kid who plays heavy and has a lot of offensive upside. Getting to know Brady and his family over the last little while has made it super exciting for our program and community knowing the type of person we’re adding for the next few years.”

“I would say that I am a power forward who is defensively sound but also is a scoring threat and has good offense capability. I hope to bring a lot of energy and a high compete level.” Craik told us about his play style, and what he hopes to bring to the Orange and Black.

“Brady plays a solid two-way game. Responsible in his own end and strong on the puck down low. We are excited to have him join the Flyers to further his development.” Flyers GM and Head Coach Justin Falk explains why he’s excited to have Craik join our organization.

The Winkler Flyers want to send a warm welcome to Brady and the Craik family to the Flyers Organization!
