FLYERS SWING DEAL WITH SWAN VALLEY – OCTOBER 17

The Winkler Flyers have announced a trade, sending forward Jason Cohan (96) and goaltender Connor Slipp (96) to the Swan Valley Stampeders in exchange for future considerations and the rights to goaltender Cole Kehler (97).

 

Kehler, a native of Altona, Manitoba, is currently playing with the WHL’s Portland Winterhawks. He has a 6-1 record, a 2.57 goals against average and a .913 save percentage so far this season.

 

Slipp has a 2-1 record with Winkler this season to go along with a 2.67 goals against average and a .922 save percentage. Cohan had three assists in seven games played this year.

 

The Flyers would like the wish Jason and Connor all the best in the future. The Flyers (7-3) will try for their third win in a row on Tuesday night when they host the Portage Terriers (9-1).
