The Manitoba Junior Hockey League announced this afternoon that the two games scheduled for this upcoming weekend against the Steinbach Pistons have been postponed due to precautionary public health concerns.
” The implementation of breaks have proven essential to provide flexibility to our schedule and to provide a necessary buffer for teams to recover from COVID-19 implications, postponements and/or weather related disruption,” the MJHL said in their statement. “Each organization is following the MJHL return to play guidelines, Manitoba public health orders while working closely with public health officials for their direction.”
No make up dates for the postponed games have been announced yet.
Any game 5 tickets purchased will be used at the rescheduled game against the Pistons.
