Justin Falk Taking Over As Flyers General Manager

The Winkler Flyers are happy to announce that Justin Falk will be taking over as General Manager of our hockey club.

Justin brings a wealth of hockey experience to the team, coming off an 11-year professional hockey career that saw him play 279 National Hockey League games, as well as winning a Calder Cup Championship in the American Hockey League. Prior to that, winning a Memorial Cup with the Spokane Chiefs in the WHL.

After being named Assistant GM and Assistant Coach in March of 2021, Justin has been working hard behind the scenes to ensure the Orange and Black have the best possible team on the ice and has been active in the community to keep the Flyer’s brand strong. Justin is currently working on his high-performance coaching certification and is looking to translate his previous experience into success for this organization.

The Winkler Flyers are excited to have someone with this level of professional experience with a local community focus.

“We are very excited to announce Justin as our General Manager. Justin has already done great work this off season to build off the work already done by his predecessors, and we look forward to a bright future with him at the helm” says Winkler Flyers President Caleb Suderman.
