KECK NAMED MJHL MVP AND SELECTED AS FIRST TEAM ALL-STAR

Winkler Flyers F Tristan Keck (95) has been named the Manitoba Junior Hockey League’s Most Valuable Player for the 2014-2015 season. The third year Flyer, who leads the MJHL with 40 goals in 55 games, was also selected as a 1st Team All-Star.

Tristan Keck has continued his goal scoring prowess in his third season in an Orange and Black uniform, sitting with 40 goals in 55 games played this season. With 157 points (91 goals – 66 assists) in 150 regular season games played in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League, the Morris, Manitoba native continues to be a force to be reckoned with in Manitoba.

The 2012-2013 MJHL and CJHL Rookie of the Year has accounted for 21% of the Flyers goals this season, and leads the club with 18 multi-point games. Not only is Keck a treat to watch on the ice, he is a model citizen and genuine gentleman off the ice.

To go along with his Most Valuable Player Award, Keck was also named a MJHL 1st Team All-Star.

The entire Winkler Flyers organization would like to congratulate Tristan on this amazing honor and wish him continued success during the remainder of the season.

Flyers goaltender Dasan Sydora (94) was also a finalist for the MJHL Top Goaltender Award. The club would like to congratulate Dasan for that honor as well.
