Graduated forward Ryne Keller will suit up next season for the University of Alberta – Augustana Vikings (ACAC). The Wilke, Saskatchewan native becomes the fourth graduating Flyer to earn a scholarship for the 2015-16 season.
The Flyers acquired Keller from the Battlefords North Stars at the January trade deadline this past season. The 5’9”, 170lbs centreman had four points (3 goals – 1 assist) in 18 regular season games played with the Flyers in 2014-15. He also recorded three assists in six playoff games.
The Vikings play in the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference and are based out of Camrose, Alberta. The Flyers would like to congratulate Ryne on his decision to continue his hockey career and education at U of A – Augustana.
