The Winkler Flyers Golf Tournament, presented by Burbank Express and Prairie Gold Transport Ltd., will take place at the Winkler Centennial Golf Course on Saturday, June 11th. The tournament will be a four person, best ball format and is open to all skill levels.
The Winkler Flyers are coming off one of their most successful seasons in recent memory, coming within one victory of the league championship series. Our players and staff have been deeply involved with the community and this tournament is an opportunity for them to interact and communicate with members of the community away from the competitive environment of the arena.
Included in the tournament are 18 holes of golf, power cart, supper, and various prizes. There will be a silent auction taking place throughout the day with many great items up for grabs. There will also be a longest drive award (Men’s & Women’s), closest to the pin, and a number of $10,000 Hole-in-One opportunities. Each golfer will also receive Flyers gift package just for registering.
The cost is $125 per golfer. Registration is 11am with Tee-Off at noon. If you would only like to attend the supper, the cost is $20 per person (email Matt Friesen to secure your seat at the table).
This fundraising golf tournament is a great way to celebrate a successful season, and also to look forward to even more success in 2016-2017.
