The Winkler Flyers have acquired a right shot defenseman in Owen Lugowski from Battlefords North Stars of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League.
Lugowski (6’3, 185lbs) who hails from Airdrie Alberta previously played two years with the Airdrie CFR Bisons U18 AAA of the AMHL scoring 15 points with 56 PIM’s in those two years.
This year for the North Stars he has two assists in 9 games played with 8 penalty minutes.
