On Sunday, October 12th, the first place Selkirk Steelers came to town to face the Flyers. It was a hard fought game, with the Flyers firing 43 shots on goal but ultimately not getting the result they wanted, as the Steelers came out on top.
The Flyers powerplay continues to roll at 30% on the season, with both of their goals in the game coming on the man advantage. Kam Thomas scored his second of the year, assisted by Gudmundson and Fisher. Gudmundson also added another goal to bring his season total to seven, maintaining a 2.29 points per game pace.
