Winkler Flyers vs. Selkirk Steelers October 14th

The Winkler Flyers faced off at home against the Selkirk Steelers for the 2nd time in 3 nights Tuesday.

The Flyers got to work quickly as Connor Rieger scored his 4th of the season just two minutes into the game. Winkler carried a 1-0 lead into the first intermission. Midway through the second, the Steelers tied the game on a power play, setting up a 1-1 score heading into the third. Tanner George put the Flyers back in front with his first of the season with just under four minutes to play, but the Steelers tied it while shorthanded and then scored with just two seconds left on the clock to take the win.

Jacob Michelson landed himself the JR Bearing Player of the Game with a hard nosed game, and earning an assist.
