The 2022 Flyers Grow Project has been completed, and we have to send SO many thank you’s out to the businesses, and individuals who helped make this possible.
Board President Caleb Suderman was thrilled with the community support “On behalf of the Winkler Flyers Board, the staff and the players, I just wanted to say thank you to everyone that made this project such a success. We have all been blown away by the support from the community and the proceeds from this will go a long way. It was especially exciting to have a group of alumni involved and giving back to the team in such a big way and it is the generosity of this community that makes Junior A hockey in Winkler possible. Thank you!”
This is a project that takes a lot of planning, time and effort from a large group of people, and if we didn’t have such community minded businesses to get behind the planning, none of this happens.
General Manager and Head Coach Justin Falk also wanted to send a massive thank you out “The Grow Project would not be a success without the many corporate supporters and volunteers that came on board at different capacities. It is a project where there are a variety of different opportunities from start to finish that members of our community, alumni and local business’s can provide support and we are truly grateful and humbled with the outcome of this inaugural fundraising project. To hear and feel the positive energy from the community only reinforces that Junior “A” hockey is supported and driven by our local communities.”
If you see any of these businesses or individuals in the community, please take a moment to thank them for their time, funding, and effort!
