FLYERS ACQUIRE KRAUTER FROM WAYWAYSEECAPPO – JUNE 6

The Winkler Flyers and Waywayseecappo Wolverines have completed an off season trade which will see the Orange and Black acquire forward Bryce Krauter (00) in exchange for prospect Graeme Patrick (02).

Krauter (00) is a 6’0”, 170lbs forward from Winnipeg, Manitoba and had 21 points (8 Goals – 13 Assists) in 35 games played with Waywayseecappo last season. He was acquired by the Wolverines midway through last season from the Weyburn Red Wings of the SJHL. He also accounted for 68 points in 83 games with the Interlake Lightning in AAA Midget.

“Krauter is a solid two way forward with good vision and passing ability with some upside to his offensive game, we are very happy to have Bryce join the Flyers,” said Flyers General Manager Jeff Jeanson.

“Giving up a prospect like Graeme Patrick is never easy and we wish him all the best in the future,” added Jeanson.

The Flyers would like to wish Graeme all the best with the Wolverines and would like to officially welcome Bryce and his family to the Flyers organization and look forward to seeing him on the ice this fall.
