The Winkler Flyers have made their first trade of the summer, acquiring 2004 Defenceman Isaiah Peters from the Notre Dame Hounds (SJHL) in exchange for future considerations.
Peters played 42 games in the AJHL/SJHL in 2022-23 for the Drumheller Dragons and Notre Dame Hounds, where he had 6 goals and 11 assists for 17 points.
GM & Head Coach Justin Falk and his Hockey Operations team are excited to have Peters join the Flyers organization “We are excited to bring Isaiah into the Flyers Organization. He is a dynamic mobile puck moving defensemen that will compliment our D core. His versatility and experience playing the off side for the majority of the past few years at the Junior A and U18 level and even some forward will give us added flexibility with our roster management. We would like to give a warm welcome to Isaiah and the Peters family.”
