Flyers Announce Harry Mahesh as Assistant Coach

The Winkler Flyers are thrilled to announce the hiring of the team’s new assistant coach, Harry Mahesh. A former captain of the Flyers, the Vanderhoof, BC native played three seasons with the orange and black before embarking on a professional career with stops in Sweden and the United States.

From head coach Kelvin Cech:

“I’m really excited to have Harry come on board. His reputation in the community speaks for itself, but the further I went through the process with Harry, the more I realized he was a perfect fit. His approach to coaching matches my own in a lot of ways, but he’s unique and will bring a fresh perspective that the guys are really going to benefit from. We’re lucky to bring Harry back to Winkler.”

Check out Harry in conversation with Kelvin.

Welcome aboard Harry!
