The Winkler Flyers Hall of Fame Banquet – Presented by Thompson Dorfman Sweatman Law Offices was a great success over the weekend.
The club inducted Goaltender Duane Derksen as the sixth individual member into their Hall of Fame. He joined Ed Belfour, Steve Harder, Wade Sambrook, Peter Dersken and Dan Giesbrecht as well as the entire 1991-1992 Turnbull Cup and Anavet Cup winning team in the Hall of Fame.
Three time Olympic Gold Medalist Jennifer Botterill was the guest speaker at the event.
The Flyers would like to thank Thompson Dorfman Sweatman, as well as everyone else who made this event possible.
