FLYERS VS PISTONS SEMI-FINAL SCHEDULE ANNOUNCED – MARCH 19

The Winkler Flyers will open up their MJHL Semi-Final series in Steinbach on Thursday, March 24th. The schedule for the best of seven series has been announced after both the Flyers and Pistons booked their tickets to the second round of the playoffs.

The Flyers got past the OCN Blizzard in the MJHL Quarter-Finals, beating them in five games. The Pistons swept the Swan Valley Stampeders in their first round series. The Pistons, who finished the regular season schedule in second place, will have home ice advantage over the third place Flyers.

Winkler had a 3-2-1 record against the Pistons during the regular season. A full series preview will be released on www.winklerflyers.com in the coming days.

All road games and home games will be broadcast live on Country 88.9FM and online at www.pembinavalleyonline.com with Matt Friesen and Darrell Wheeler with the pregame show’s getting underway five minutes prior to game time.

Game Two: Saturday, March 26th @ Winkler, 8:00pm

Game Three: Tuesday, March 29th @ Steinbach, 7:30pm

Game Four: Friday, April1st @ Winkler, 7:30pm

Game Five: Sunday, April 3rd @ Steinbach, 7:30pm (if necessary)

Game Six: Tuesday, April 5th @ Winkler, 7:30pm (if necessary)

Game Seven: Wednesday, April 6th @ Steinbach, 7:30pm (if necessary)
