The Winkler Flyers organization is currently seeking candidates to complement our current volunteer Board of Directors.
Anyone 18 years of age or older is eligible to complete an application for Board membership, and as the organization has transitioned to a not-for-profit organizational structure, no financial investment is required to join the board.
Recruitment is for one Board of Director position with the Winkler Flyers organization. Terms are generally set for a period of 2 years.
The Board meets once a month, with additional committee meetings occurring in addition to the monthly board meeting. Meetings are held in the evenings and are anywhere between one to two and a half hours in duration.
The Board consists of a minimum of three and a maximum of twelve directors.
