THE WINKLER FLYERS AND WINKLER FIRE DEPARTMENT ANNOUNCE CHARITY GAME – NOVEMBER 21

Come and support the Winkler and District Christmas Cheer Board and watch the Winkler Flyers take on the Winkler Fire Department on Sunday, December 8th to honour the Pembina Valley’s first responders.

Every day someone you know puts their personal safety and wellness on the line to make our small corner of the world a better place. Our police officers, our fire fighters, our paramedics. Each path requires a sacrifice that is demonstrated on a daily basis by the strongest women and men among us.

Most of us don’t have the skills to do those jobs, but that doesn’t mean we can’t help out. On December 8th, the Flyers will kick off 12 days of giving, together with the Winkler Fire Department. Discover your inner competitive spirit this Christmas season by coming to the game and donating a non-perishable food item to the Winkler and District Christmas Cheer Board.

Every non-perishable food item collected on the 8th will be donated to the Christmas Cheer Board.

But we’re not stopping on the 8th. The donation net in the lobby of the Winkler Arena will remain open for 12 days, right up until the Flyers’ home game on December 20th vs the Steinbach Pistons. Everything collected after December 8th will be donated to the Winkler Food Cupboard.

Give back to your community and honour its bravest on December 8th when the Flyers take on the Winkler Fire Department. Puck drop at 8pm.
