Winkler Flyers Win 3-1 at Home Against Virden
The Winkler Flyers earned a complete 3-1 home win over the Virden Oil Capitals on Sunday night.
Brody Beauchemin, Liam Carlone, and Kam Thomas each scored for Winkler, while Brady Craik and Blake Matheson both picked up two assists a piece. Goalie Liam Ernst made 22 saves to secure the victory. The Flyers penalty kill proved to be the difference allowing just one Powerplay goal despite being shorthanded a season high 10 times
Flyers have a quick turnaround as they roll into Winnipeg to face the Blues at 4:45 on Remembrance Day Monday November 11th.
