Flyers Edge Selkirk in a Shootout

The Winkler Flyers beat the Selkirk Steelers in first exhibition game of the 2020/21 MJHL season.

The Winkler Flyers opened up the scoring in the first period. Selkirk battled back to tie it in the second but the Flyers scored 2 late goes in the span of 25 seconds and led 3-2 heading into the third.

After Selkirk tied it at 3 both teams skated to a draw after the overtime period and a shootout was needed. Max Collette scored the game winner giving the Flyers the victory!
