The Winkler Flyers will open up their 35th Anniversary season in Steinbach on Friday, September 25th as the Manitoba Junior Hockey League released their 2015-16 schedule on Monday. The Orange and Black will play six of their first 10 games at home, including their home opener on Saturday, September 26th against the Pistons.
The Flyers 60 game regular season schedule will once again consist of 29 home games and 29 road games. All 11 teams in the MJHL will also play two games at the MJHL Showcase event at the MTS Centre in Winnipeg on October 2nd and 3rd. Winkler will play Dauphin and Neepawa at the Showcase.
The Winkler Flyers have many events planned to celebrate their 35th anniversary in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League and those events will be announced in the coming months.
