High Performance Hockey School 2020
Note: skills and scrimmage and further development options aren't open for registration yet. Just hockey school. Check out the FAQ's below.
Registration is now open for the Flyers High Performance Hockey School 2020. Join head coach Kelvin Cech and Flyers players past and present in an encouraging, upbeat environment carefully planned to maximize your time on the ice.
2012 - 2005
Players are placed into small groups on ice so they can maximize their development alongside players in their peer group.
On-ice development is planned and implemented by Flyers head coach Kelvin Cech, Flyers assistant coaches as well as current and former Flyers players.
Each day combines Hockey Canada’s 5 core skills: skating, stickhandling, passing, shooting, and checking. Participants will work on skating every morning while the goalies receive personalized attention.
Goalies get personalized attention each morning from a goalie instructor. Drills involving skaters are also designed with goalies' needs in mind.
Are the kids fed?
We provide snacks - granola bars, apples, oranges, that sort of thing. If your child is the hungry type then we recommend sending some extra snacks with them.
How much does it cost?
Is full equipment required?
Yes! High performance requires high performing equipment. This is a fun yet challenging week that includes plenty of competition. Participation will not be permitted without proper certified gear.
Are jerseys provided?
Yep, t-shirts too, and you get to keep both!
Unfortunately we have a family trip to Hawaii that week that we can't get out of. Do you have other development options coming up?
We sure do. You can choose Elite Positional Skills in the last two weeks of August, Skills & Scrimmage in early September to get ready for tryouts, or another secret option we can't tell you about yet. Those options aren't ready for registration quite yet.
